M1's CEO Sold Shares

M1 is a telco stock, most investors classified it stable and dividend yielding (7%).

M1 had dropped 27% year to date.

M1's CEO Karen Kooi had sold her M1 shares at around this depressed price. This may signal that she thinks M1 share price has more downside.

M1 has come under increasing pressure on the mobile business front, particularly in light of TPG Telecom's winning bid to be Singapore's fourth telco.

M1 has 80% revenue exposure to the local mobile market. Pricing pressure on mobile business will affect its bottomline.

If bottomline shrinks, this will affect dividend payout as well. So don't expect that 7% dividend yield is here to stay.

There are analysts that wrote that future pricing pressure had been priced into the share price. But it seems that M1's CEO disagrees with that.
